Best Time To Scan
Find out where you have the most muscle/fat mass, whether your body is balanced left to right and top to bottom, where your target areas should be.
The technical term for this is Direct Segmental Multi-frequency.
BEST TIME FOR A SCAN??
We want all our clients to get the most accurate and precise results. The scan is at its finest when we follow these tips:
DO
- Scan before exercise & on an empty stomach. (**PLEASE NOTE** Scans can be done at anytime. To get most accurate results this is ideal. If scan is completed at another time of day, subsequent scans should be at a similar time)
- Wear comfortable clothing, removing any items with metal zippers, snaps, fasteners, belts & underwire bras. Please also remove any jewellery where possible.
- Complete future scans under similar conditions (e.g. timing, clothing etc.)
- Wipe the palms & sole’s with the Inbody Tissue before testing.
DON’T
- Scan after a shower or the use of a sauna as sweat & heat causes a temporary change in conductivity within the body.
- Talk or move during the test
What Makes Us Different From the Rest?
The Inbody 570 uses precise & effective technology to assess your overall body composition. It is important to understand that weight alone will not show what you are truly made up of. The Inbody 570 utilises patented technology & bioelectrical impedance. “Bioelectrical Impedance” by definition, is a small alternating current that travels through the body in segments and can precisely differentiate between muscle, water & fat. This technology has been around since the 80’s, however like most sciences, advancements have occurred & Inbody is the world leader in this area.
Inbody is unique because it scans you for you, it does not use any assumptions and provides results which are as unique as each individual. All other methods input age, gender, sometimes ethnicity & body type to obtain averages in a scan; Inbody does not. We use your age & gender simply as a means to provide guidelines and allow you to compare your results based on these factors. Simply put, if you changed your age & gender on an Inbody device the scan results would not change, because your body has not changed.
